Story

War. Such a short word for something so powerful. It’s a good thing we have never been faced with a war - the battles we fight pale in comparison. But yes, war is raging at the outer rims of the kingdom, and, alongside his generals, our King Damien is doing his best to keep trouble from our gates. One of our kingdom's armies, the Ewanian Pioneers, is known to be composed of the most extraordinary soldiers this world has ever seen. It is the elite army of the King, and now they're at war at the rim, and a new darkness is rising. The King has ordered us all to establish an aid plan - we need to support them with all we've got, and as soon as possible!

On completion: What an achievement, what a crusade! We've finally managed to expel the clan lords from Dust Hold, leaving their marauding hordes leaderless and easy to disperse. The valiant Ewanian Pioneers finally get to return home, and with them our own beloved soldiers. We can finally say we have brought peace to the troubled lands of Randomar, and in the process, also uprooted a tribe of conspiring bandits! What a well deserved victory!

We'll need to make sure we can see the bandits coming should they choose to return - so I've come up with a blueprint for our most ambitious building yet. A watchtower that we can fill with sentries! First, we'll need to build the base structure. I hired some builders, but you'll have to provide them with the correct tools. The ones we have apparently aren't good enough, so you'll need to craft some new ones in the provision house.

On completion: Phase one is complete! We're just getting started. Let's move on to phase two.

The bandits have set up a fortress in the middle of our island while we weren't looking! How did they manage to get this far without us noticing!? Never mind - now they're here, we'll have to deal with the problem. Perhaps we can gain some time by distracting them with some paperwork or something, and show that we want no kerfuffle with them. I'll have the scribes ready at the provision house.

On completion: Well, that did little more than distract them for a while. They saw through our clever ruse quickly enough, and were insulted by it. Still, it bought us enough time to think over our options. Good job!

On completion: Ahh - it turns out he was cleverer than we thought! He purposefully disguised himself as a lady, so we'd be looking for a lady. But then he ditched the disguise, and tried to get away! Fortunately, our scout managed to follow him undetected.

Story

The bandits have set up a fortress in the middle of our island while we weren't looking! How did they manage to get this far without us noticing!? Never mind - now they're here, we'll have to deal with the problem. Perhaps we can gain some time by distracting them with some paperwork or something, and show that we want no kerfuffle with them. I'll have the scribes ready at the provision house.

On completion: Well, that did little more than distract them for a while. They saw through our clever ruse quickly enough, and were insulted by it. Still, it bought us enough time to think over our options. Good job!

Story

Our scouts have discovered that one of the functions the Bandit Fortress is "offering" is a boot camp for people who want to be bandits. Really? What sort of person would look at their life and think "You know what? I want to be a bandit"? Anyway, we can't let this stand. We have to do something about it!

On completion: Well done! Hopefully those guys will have some second thoughts about their life choices.

We may know that the treasure is a hoax - but the bandits don't. We need to make sure that they can't send for reinforcements, and the only way to do that is to make sure that our paper production chains are under constant supervision.

On completion: Okay. We checked the factories, and it seems that there's no paper missing... So that means either they're not sending a message, or... they have their own paper! Why didn't I think of that?

On completion: We found the spy! To be honest, we didn't really need that mess of keywords, as he wasn't exactly all that great at hiding. Turns out he was disguised as a woman - the mustache kind of gave him away...

On completion: Ahh - it turns out he was cleverer than we thought! He purposefully disguised himself as a lady, so we'd be looking for a lady. But then he ditched the disguise, and tried to get away! Fortunately, our scout managed to follow him undetected.

I think this time, it's serious. The bandits have their military parked right at our door, and if we don't do something now, they'll be coming for us. Send your generals! Let's teach them that our army is not to be trifled with!
